Beware of the Social Media Marketing Guru

    in Political Forum

This is when a person creates their own viral content for promoting their services or products indirectly. It includes creation of viral videos, creation of a novel site to attract people's attention and hosting competition. Viral production is capable of reaching a large number of people and creates more buzz compared to other techniques. Unfortunately, since this technique is a big-scale campaign it is quite expensive and the chances of becoming viral are slim.

This is where people share their resources through reference URL's rather than the content. The goal of this method is to drive tons of traffic to a website by getting on the front page. In order to do this, one has to have content or services that are potentially viral or one needs to be in position to get endorsement by the power users of the bookmarking site. Then there is also the influencer campaign that makes use of popular tweeters, bloggers, video makers and so on, to do the marketing for the company.

If you have a Facebook or Twitter profile, you are probably thinking that social media marketing is easy. After all, you've had a lot of practice with your friends, right? Unfortunately social network marketing for small business is a whole new ball game. While you have become accustomed to the basic functionality of your favored social networks, there are different rules for business.
